Storm Survivor privacy policy

This policy describes the Storm Survivor iOS game. You can sail without creating an account with us. Progress is stored on your device; Apple services can also sync progress and scores as described below.
Progress and local records
The game saves your fleet, refits, Gold, records and settings on your device. It also keeps bounded gameplay event logs with a random session identifier, support recordings and recent error records locally.
Gameplay data (optional). On first launch the game asks whether you want to share gameplay data. Only if you choose Share does the game send gameplay events to Unity Gaming Services (Unity Technologies), which processes them for us: voyage starts and results (distance, time, Gold, cause), tutorial steps, store visits and purchased product IDs, rank progress, and error reports. Each event carries a random install identifier, the identifier Apple provides for this app on your device (IDFV), the device model, the OS version, the language and the country derived from the IP address. It never carries your name, email, Apple ID, payment details or advertising identifier. We use this data only to understand how the game is played and to fix problems. It is not used for advertising or tracking, it is not sold, and it is not combined with data from other companies. You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Support > Share gameplay data; turning it off stops collection. To have data already collected deleted, email us. If the game crashes, Unity's crash reporter sends a crash report (stack trace, device model, OS and game version) so that we can fix the crash. Unity's privacy policy.
iCloud and Game Center
When available through your Apple account and device settings, iCloud key-value storage syncs permanent progress: owned boats, refits, earned achievements, best boat distances and scores, best voyage, lifetime distance and gameplay totals. Wallet balances, transaction ledgers, diagnostic reports and local event logs are not included in that progress payload.
The game attempts Game Center sign-in at launch. When signed in, it sends best Normal and Storm distances and scores, and earned achievements, to Apple. Apple associates these with your Game Center profile; leaderboard visibility follows Apple's service and your privacy settings. Sign-in and syncing failures do not block sailing. Manage iCloud and Game Center through your Apple settings.
Purchases
Optional purchases use Apple's StoreKit. Apple processes payment. The app handles product and transaction identifiers to deliver purchases, prevent duplicate credit and restore eligible boat unlocks. We do not receive your payment card details, and this game does not send receipts to a developer-operated validation server.
Reports you choose to share
Report a problem prepares a local file with your message. Including recent runs is optional and starts unchecked. If included, diagnostics can contain device model, operating system, screen size, app version and build, recent gameplay, error messages, stack traces and device-health information. The system share sheet lets you choose a recipient. Preparing a report does not automatically send it to us. Avoid putting sensitive personal information in your message.
If you email support, we receive your address, message and any attachment you choose to send. We use these to reply and investigate the problem. Support email is received through Cloudflare Email Routing and stored in Google Gmail. We keep support emails for 12 months after the conversation ends, then delete them. To ask for deletion sooner, email us from the same address.
Advertising
You can choose to watch a non-personalised rewarded ad after an eligible voyage to earn the Gold shown on the button. You can keep sailing without watching. Closing before earning the reward adds no Gold. Ads may be unavailable when offline or when no ad is ready.
Google Mobile Ads can process IP-derived approximate location, device identifiers, ad interactions, performance data and crash information to provide ads and related measurement. Non-personalised ads do not mean no data is collected. Google's consent tool asks for privacy choices where required; Settings → Support shows Privacy choices when required. Your choices
Use Settings → Support → Clear recordings to remove local diagnostic recordings and exported reports without removing game progress. Copies already shared remain with their recipients. Removing the app removes its local app data, but does not promise to erase iCloud, Game Center, Apple purchase history or backups. Manage those through Apple. Contact support to request deletion of information you sent us.
The game does not request camera, microphone, contacts, photos or location permission. It has no developer account registration. Optional gameplay data goes only to Unity Gaming Services, as described above. Apple's online services have their own privacy terms.
Children, hosting and changes
Children. Storm Survivor is a general-audience game rated 4+. It is not directed to children and is not in the App Store Kids category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared data with us, email us and we will delete it.
These policy and support pages may generate ordinary hosting access logs when visited. The pages are hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard request data (IP address, browser and time) to serve and protect the pages; we do not receive or keep these logs and use no cookies or analytics on these pages. We will update this page when the app's data practices change.
